Do you have an iPhone ?? expectialy and iPhone 2G , the old one , yeah the Tricks is working on iPhone 2G with Jailbreaking mode , at the last week some hackers has informed to managed to port Android on the Apple iPhone. some of peole says that this tricks is and advanced Trick , bt we try to make a simple step by step guide for you and you can make a dual-boot Android with iPhone OS on iPhone 2G.

The process to Install and Android to iphone is have 5 stages: at the first you can downloading all the required stuff, to preparation, configuring Virtual Box with Ubuntu, to getting Android on iPhone and so on. Each stage then has lots of steps which you will need to follow. The reason why the guide is long is because everything has been detailed, and broken down so that even a newbie can get it to work on a jailbroken iPhone 2G.

Downloads

Here there are plenty of things you need before starting:

1. IMPORTANT! Jailbroken iPhone 2G. Jailbreaking guide can be found here.
2. VirtualBox (link). Get the correct version of Windows / Mac
3. Ubuntu VirtualBox image (link). Download the number 10, Ubuntu Linux 9.10 codename Karmic Koalax86
4. iPhone Explorer (link). If you are in Linux you can use FTP and FileZilla instead.
5. Android images and links between the sources ()
6. Composite images (link). Courtesy of Geek.

Preparation

Let some of the basics as follows:

1. Open Task Manager
2. Kill the iTunes Helper process
3. Install iPhone Explorer
4. Connect your iPhone to your Mac / PC
5. Run Explorer iPhone
6. Click the Change button following
7. Select “/” The Real iPhone Directory
8. Go to private / var
9. ramdisk.img Copy, userdata.img, Downloads cache.img and zImage # 5 (Android images and fonts) to the var directory
10. Copy and system.img android.img.gz Download # 6 (image patch) on the var directory
11. That’s all the files of Android on the iPhone, now make them run!

Configuring Virtual Box

1. Install VirtualBox
2. VirtualBox Open
3. Go to File> Virtual Media Manager
4. Make sure the hard drive is selected
5. Click Add
6. Find the file ubuntu-9.10.vdi (download # 3) and select
7. Close Virtual Media Manager
8. More> New Machine
9. Click Next
10. In Name type “Ubuntu”
11. Select the Linux operating system
12. Select the version of Ubuntu
13. Click Next
14. Establish an amount of RAM, the default should be fine
15. Click Next
16. Select “Use Existing Hard Drive”
17. Select the Ubuntu-9.10.vdi
18. Click Next
19. Click Finish
20. Select the new Ubuntu machine to start
21. The logon password is: reverse

Ubuntu Configuration

Hardly – if this feels a little long to explain, examine the short and simple each step is!

1. Click System (top bar)> Administration> Synaptic Package Manager
2. Enter the password: reverse
3. In the Quick Search box, type libusb-1.0, click the check box next to libusb-1.0-0 and select Mark for Installation
4. In the Quick Search box, type libreadline, click the check box next to libreadline5 and select Mark for installtion
5. Click Apply
6. When everything is installed close the Package Manager
7. Firefox open (Ubuntu)
8. Download the installer from here openiboot
9. Click Places (top bar)> Downloads
10. Openiboot.zip click and click Extract here
11. Click Applications (top bar)> Accessories> Terminal
12. Without the quotes, Transfer type cd ‘/ openiboot’
13. Restart the iPhone in recovery mode (turn off, hold down the Home button, connect USB cable)

Android to Get a Job!

1. In VirtualBox, Ubuntu window, go to Devices> USB Devices and iPhone selection (recovery mode)
2. In the terminal type (without quotes): “sudo su”
3. Enter the password: reverse
4. In the terminal type. / Loadibec openiboot.img3
5. OpeniBoot will see the screen appear on your iPhone
6. Hold down the power button a couple of seconds (iPhone)
7. The background option, openiboot console, will be selected
8. Click Start (iPhone). You will see a bunch of text appear and stop at “Welcome to openiboot”
9. In VirtualBox, Ubuntu window, go to Devices> USB Devices and iPhone selection (OpeniBoot Mode)
10. In Your terminal type. / Oibc
11. Enter the password: reverse
12. If this does not work just type:. / Oibc
13. You see the same text in the iPhone at the Terminal
14. Type (without quotes) “0 × 0 × 0 09,000,000 1,048,576 nor_read ‘and press ENTER
15. Wait for it to say Done
16. Type (without quotes) “norbackup.dump ~: 1048576″
17. This creates a backup of your memory NOR – save a copy on a USB stick, or by email to yourself or something
18. Type of installation, press Enter. When this is done openiboot you have installed on your iPhone. There!

Finishing Off

What you have achieved so far is until the iPhone Android files, and then install openiboot for you to have an option for Android or iPhone OS at power on. Openiboot was necessary because that’s the only way at this point that you can boot into Android. Here’s how to finish and enter Android:

1. If you are still in Terminal oibc still running, just type ‘reboot’, press Enter and go to Step 3
2. If you do not have to open the terminal, disconnecting the phone off and back on
3. When openiboot appears press the power button to switch to the console openiboot (option below)
4. Hold down the Home button
5. Android starts to boot, but it could take a while
